  • Tube D: 23 mm
  • max. reproduction of 2:1

The special lens design of the AstrHori 28mm f/13 2X Macro offers shooting perspectives that are not possible with normal macro lenses.
The 25cm long and 23mm thin probe of the lens barrel enables unique and very convenient "slide-in" shots in places where conventional lenses fail. With a maximum reproduction of 2:1, this results in a 2x magnification of the subject and, thanks to the 28mm wide angle, an image angle of 75 degrees as well as a greater depth of field. The resulting effect corresponds most closely to the perspective of insects.

Thanks to the built-in 5 watt ring light on the front, with 10 LEDs and USB-C connection, close-range illumination is very easy. A dimmable USB cable is included for connection.
Videographers will appreciate the Module 0.8 gears, which can be used to adjust both the distance and aperture rings via cine focusing devices.

The 25cm front barrel of the full-frame lens is waterproof, so you can comfortably shoot and film directly under the surface of water, in other liquids or in dusty environments. The front lens is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire glass.

The focus and aperture are set manually.
The front barrel can be easily removed for transportation and storage and stowed away in the case supplied.
