Waterproof* and rugged for extreme weather conditions
According to JIS 7 specification, the binoculars are waterproof*, making them suitable for even the most demanding outdoor use. Rubber armor and a firm grip in damp conditions make it the ideal companion for any adventure. To prevent fogging on the inner lenses, all outer surfaces are covered with a special metal coating.

Extremely steady image
Canon's Image Stabilizer (IS) technology provides impressively steady image by compensating for a wide range of unwanted shake that occurs when holding the binoculars unsupported or in moving vehicles and boats. Tiny gyro sensors detect even minor vibrations; Canon's Vari-Angle Prism (VAP) image stabilizer works a microprocessor that offsets the prisms to instantly correct the angle of incidence of light accordingly.

Easily find the subject thanks to first-class field of view
The binoculars offer a comfortable field of view and bright, crisp, leveled and distortion-free vision from center to edge with a generous 59.2° apparent field of view and two Canon field flattening lenses. The 16mm far back exit pupil also makes the binoculars ideal for eyeglass wearers.

Specially designed for easy and comfortable use
The eyepieces feature adjustable rubber eyecups that can be customized for comfortable and balanced use. The rotating mechanism for focusing can be conveniently operated with one finger with either hand. A special lock prevents accidental adjustment of the eyepiece diopter setting.

* Waterproof according to JIS 7
