Weather-sealed XF Lens

The FUJINON XF18-135mm covers a focal length range of 27-206mm (equivalent to KB). The Lens's effective image stabilization gains up to five stops to compensate for camera movement and prevent blurry shots. The Lens is sealed in more than 20 places, making it both splash and dust resistant.

A true all-round Lens

The new FUJINON XF18-135mm is ideally suited to a wide range of subjects thanks to its focal length range of 27 to 206mm (equivalent to KB). This ranges from the wide-angle of 27mm for stunning landscape or architectural shots to the telephoto of 206mm for first-class sports shots and portraits. To achieve the highest possible sharpness and maximum contrast from wide-angle to telephoto, the FUJINON XF18-135mm uses high-quality glass including four aspherical lenses and two ED lenses. The special HT-EBC coating also minimizes surface reflections.

Fast autofocus

The FUJINON XF18-135mm features an internal focusing system that uses a lightweight focus lens and linear motor. When the new FUJINON XF Lens is combined with an X-series system camera*1 that has phase autofocus, very fast autofocus (max. 0.10 seconds) is achieved.

Linear motor technology, which directly moves the focus lens, is very quiet and ensures low operating noise when shooting video.

Image stabilizer sets global standards

The FUJINON XF18-135mm's image stabilization, which gains up to five stops, sets global standards. The new, high-precision Gyro Sensor in the Lens uses quartz oscillators to accurately detect movement from the high to low frequency range. An algorithm has also been developed to accurately detect blur in the detected signal. Correction performance has been doubled at slow shutter speeds. This makes it possible to take pictures without a tripod without any problems.

Weather and dust resistant

The FUJINON XF18-135 mm is sealed at 20 points and thus protected against splash water as well as dust. This makes the Lens the perfect combination with the FUJIFILM X-T1 and its VG-XT1 battery grip, both of which are also weather and dust protected.

With conventional sealed zoom lenses, the air inside the Lens may not be able to escape when zooming. This causes problems when zooming. To avoid this, a ventilation system is built inside the lens barrel of the FUJINON XF18-135mm, which exhausts the air in a controlled manner. This allows comfortable zooming at all times.
