  • Hoya polarizing filter
  • optimal color saturation and clarity
  • new antistatic coating
  • hardened surface against wear
  • dirt and water repellent
  • light and flat, suitable for wide-angle lenses

The new Hoya Fusion Antistatic Next filters use a newly developed antistatic coating that acts like a magnetic field in the opposite direction to keep dust and dirt away from the filter surface. The three filter types in the series, a CIP-PL filter, a UV filter and a protector, are therefore particularly suitable for use in dirty or dusty environments. Unlike conventional filters, which require frequent cleaning in such environments to avoid ruining shots with dirt in front of the lens, the new antistatic filters require far less maintenance.

Of course, it is not possible to completely dispense with cleaning with these filters, but it can be kept to a minimum. In this way, the photographer or filmmaker reduces the risk of the filter surface being scratched by the finest dust or dirt particles, which is often almost impossible to avoid by frequent cleaning in such environments. The hardened, antistatic surface also repels water and rain and can be easily and gently cleaned of dirt stains and fingerprints if required.

Hoya Fusion Antistatic CIR-PL - Optimum colour saturation and clarity
Light is polarized to a greater or lesser extent when reflected by non-electrically conductive surfaces, i.e. almost all non-metallic surfaces, depending on the angle of incidence. With the new circular polarizing filter (CIR-PL), unwanted light reflections can be reduced and colour saturation and contrast improved. Blue skies become more intense and clouds become more vivid without affecting the overall color balance.
