  • LAOWA 15mm f/4.5R Zero-D Shift
  • Shift Lens with 110 degree angle of view
  • ± 11mm shift adjustment
  • outstanding optical performance
  • Also suitable for medium format cameras thanks to large image circle with adapter
  • distortion-free thanks to Zero-D technology
  • extremely short focusing distance
  • 14-ray sun star

Extreme wide-angle shift lens for full-frame cameras.
It offers outstanding optical properties and technical features. The angle of view is an enormous 110 degrees, more than any other shift lens on the market to date. Thanks to a maximum shift of ± 11mm, this lens is perfect for architectural photography. Even very tall buildings can be photographed with it without any falling lines. Shifting would also be possible today using image processing, but this would crop the image and reduce the advantage of the large image angle. It also saves work and the quality of the original is retained.

Thanks to the huge image circle of 65mm, the LAOWA 15mm f/4.5R Zero-D Shift is not only suitable for full-frame cameras. With medium format cameras, such as the Fujifilm GFX or Hasselblad X1D, the shift on the X-axis is also up to ±11mm and on the Y-axis up to ±8mm. Even very tall buildings can be photographed without any falling lines. A corresponding lens adapter is required for this. This means that the lens also has the widest focal length currently available for the Fujifilm GFX or Hasselblad X1D sensor without vignetting.

The 15mm f/4.5R Zero-D Shift is another lens in the successful LAOWA Zero-D series, with which photographers obtain image results with straight lines without distortion. This top optical performance is achieved thanks to 17 elements in 11 groups with 2 aspherical elements. The high-quality lens coating has also been improved once again to further minimize flares and ghosting in addition to the already significant reduction in chromatic aberration. The close focusing distance of just 20 cm allows impressive close-ups with a macro-like effect, while the focal length ensures a unique width in the image. Focusing and aperture adjustment are manual.

Despite the special possibilities offered by this lens, it is surprisingly compact and light, with a diameter of 79mm and a length of 103mm and a weight of 597g. Thanks to the 14 aperture blades, a 14-ray sun star and a beautiful round bokeh result when shooting against the sun or a point light source. This sun star is particularly suitable for commercial photography with multiple light sources.

The built-in rotation function allows photographers to change the shift direction to portrait format in no time at all. The mechanism is available for a full 360 degrees, with the lens locking into place every 15 degrees.

A Shift Lens Support tripod clamp, available as an accessory, is perfect for panorama shots in combination with the LAOWA 15mm f/4.5R Zero-D Shift and avoids parallax errors, for example. Precise alignment of the lens-camera position is therefore guaranteed in every direction.
