The Mantona Kodiak XL 324 F15 tripod is the ideal choice for ambitious travel, outdoor and nature photographers with special requirements. The Kodiak series offers comfort and precision on all 3 movement levels thanks to a swiveling and rotating center column. The height-adjustable, 210° reversible and 360° rotatable center column gives you unlimited freedom for positioning your equipment during your shoots. The XL version of the tripod offers a working height of 8 to 190 cm and excellent stability. The included ball head has a very high load capacity of 15 kg and impresses with its first-class workmanship and full equipment including friction control.
Maximum variability for your shots
The Kodiak proves to be a real all-rounder thanks to its extremely variable working heights. With the center column fully extended, the Kodiak XL 324 F15 offers a working height of an impressive 190 cm. Even with the center column pushed in for maximum stability, the maximum height is a very comfortable 160 cm.
The strengths of the Kodiak really come into their own for macro shots. With its foldable center column construction, your photo equipment can be brought into almost any desired position. In addition, the working height can be reduced to a minimalistic 8 cm with the separate, short center column. Of course, the center column can also be removed and mounted in the reverse position underneath the tripod shoulder. All this is torsion-proof and extremely stable thanks to the intelligent center column and tripod shoulder design.
First-class handling, clever details and elegant controls
The angle of the tripod legs can be adjusted in 3 stages using the ergonomically shaped locking clips. Very voluminous and stable aluminum tripod legs with diameters of 32, 28, 25 and 22 mm ensure a secure stand. Thanks to the integrated spikes and load hook, it can also be used on slippery terrain such as mud, snow and ice.
A bubble level in the tripod shoulder makes it easier to align the tripod and the intelligent design of the tripod shoulder allows cleanly damped panoramic panning even without a tripod head.
The three foam handles allow comfortable handling even in cold weather conditions and the mini LED lamp included in the scope of delivery is a nice gadget for setting up and dismantling in low light.

Arca-Swiss compatibility, fine workmanship with high-quality controls and maximum ease of use are combined here with a very high maximum load capacity of 15 kg. As a special feature, the ball head has a friction travel control screw. This allows the resistance to be set and a short or long adjustment path to be selected for locking the ball head. Using your thumb or the enclosed tool, the friction travel can be easily and effectively adjusted to the weight of your equipment or your individual preferences. A long adjustment range ensures particularly sensitive operation. For heavy equipment or particularly fast handling, the friction travel can be reduced or almost completely blocked.
A high-quality, padded tripod bag with a length of 66 cm is also included in the scope of delivery.

The quick-release plate of the Onyx ball head is Arca-Swiss compatible and scales on the ball head base and the quick-release plate guarantee the exact alignment of your equipment. The full range of features is completed by two spirit levels and a bubble level. Clean and controlled panorama pans are ensured by a clean damping system and the precise panorama scale.
